Details:  Most consumers prefer variety.  No one wants 500 pontoon boats because you can only realistically get utility from a few of them at time, which means we experience diminishing marginal utility from consuming more of one good.  What would provide us with more utility, is being able to consume 'a little bit of everything'.  In the chorus, "I don't need too much of nothing...Oh, I know that I don't need a whole lot of anything, I just want a little bit of everything"
